Magnet Program's Mission

The Miami Central Senior High Computer Science and Technology Magnet Program is committed to providing a safe and diverse environment by offering a curriculum that allows students the opportunity to experience state-of-the-art technology to produce competent leaders in an increasing technological world. The integrity of this technology environment will be ensured by continuosly reevaluating our program and making necessary modifications to affirm the successful completion of these goals.

AOIT Magnet Program

Miami Central Senior High School provides a unique extensive combination of academic study and career-related computer technology experiences, internships, and post-secondary preparation courses. Information Technology will be among the most prosperous industries in the new Millennium. Miami Central Senior High School offers the opportunity for students to gain knowledge and hands-on experience with the latest equipment and software in order to prepare for future high-skill, high-wage, and high-demand careers. Miami Central Senior High School Technology Magnet Program will help students meet rigorous performance and industry standards by offering three academies: Cisco/Intergrated Systems, Computer Graphics and Computer Science.

Admissions

Students may apply for admission by completing the Magnet Application form.
